More VoIP Benefits

VoIP would be anyone's choice even if the only benefit with it was its low rates. But it has other advantages too - most notably its mobility. That is, take it where you want without any hassles.
You cannot take your regular landline telephone anywhere away from your home or office. If you change residence you have to apply to the telephone company to make the change which could take a lot of time. And there is no way you could take your phone when you are traveling.
If you are not using VoIP, the best you can do on a business trip or vacation is to take your cell phone with you and pay the roaming charges or use the local phone service to make your calls.
Not so with a broadband phone.
Just take your Internet Phone and adapter or the IP phone with you anywhere in the world, plug it into a broadband connection and you can start talking at the same low rates as you did at your home.
Yes, you need to pack the internet phone equipment with your luggage now, but WiFi phones will soon solve this problem too. WiFi phones which have started coming into the market are like regular cell phones with the difference that they work on VoIP.
